SUSPENSION OF SERVICES Feb 28, 2007 Web Administrator
The Companies Office of Jamaica hereby advises that there will be a suspension of its registration and copy services for five (5) working days commencing March 19 2007 to facilitate a change over to our new automated system, the Document Processing Management Information System (DPMIS). The DPMIS will facilitate speedier, more accurate registration of documents and the ability for customers to track the status of the registration of their documents at intervals, electronic access to all company files, improved searching capabilities and in phase 2, electronic filing of documents. As a result of the change over, our offices will be closed to the Public during the aforementioned period. We will however accept documents although they will not be registered until the DPMIS is implemented. We also wish to point out that there will be some reduction in the processing operations during the week of March 12 2007 in order for the Agency to adequately prepare itself for the change over. Guaranteed services will be suspended for one (1) month from March 12 2007. Users of the Website facilities will not be able to use the Site during the suspension, as it will be taken offline during the upgrade Persons wishing to contact us urgently may do so at custsupport@orcjamaica.com during the period of closure. The COJ regrets any inconvenience the suspension of services will cause to our customers and stakeholders but looks forward to your usual support as we seek to improve our services to you. |
