Vacancy - Customer Service Officer

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Officer supports the delivery of quality customer service by offering front end examination of documents and assisting customers with normal daily requests to facilitate the efficient registration of business entities and to sustain/improve customer satisfaction levels in the Agency.

Ideally, applicants must have

• Associate Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
• Paralegal Certification
• At least one years’ related work experience
OR
• Certificate in Public Administration/Management Studies or equivalent qualification
• Paralegal Certification
• At least two years related experience

Plus

• Good understanding of legislative and agency requirements for the processing of documents.
• Sound knowledge of the agency’s software
• Working knowledge of relevant computer applications
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties include:

• Advising customers on the policies and procedures that should be followed in registering Business entities.
• Carrying out examination on documents submitted, and accepts if appropriate.
• Referring difficult cases for resolution to the appropriate authority and follow through with customers as necessary.
• Computing fees that are due on the registration of documents and advises customers of charges.
• Maintaining a record of customer enquiry and complaints
• Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports
• Generating fee sheets as is required
• Carrying out clerical support functions and other related duties as assigned from time to time inclusive of call centre responsibilities.
